Philippine military General Emmanuel Bautista has visited troops at the Eastern Mindanao Command in Davao City and spoke to member of the armed forces and praising them for their peace and development feats and awarded deserving soldiers.

Eastern Mindanao Command chief General Ricardo Rainier Cruz III led senior military officers in welcoming Bautista. 

“During his talk to the troops, General Bautista congratulated the officers and men of Eastern Mindanao Command led by General Cruz for a job well done. He also urged the troops to continue the Bayanihan in an effort to bring peace and development and progress to areas covered by the Eastern Mindanao Command.,” Captain Alberto Caber, the chief information officer, told the Mindanao Examiner.

He said Bautista also reminded troops to maintain their good rapport and relationship with the civilians and other stake holders to ensure peace in the region.
