From InterAksyon (Sep 12): 3 wounded in North Cotabato grenade attacks
Three members of a household were wounded in one of two grenade attacks in North Cotabato province Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
Marcus Esmail, 40, Nhorjana Esmail and Amirah Usman, 18, were wounded by shrapnel when a grenade from an M79 launcher was fired on their house in Pikit town by suspected members of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters, Captain Tony Bulao, spokesman of the 602nd Infantry Brigade said.
Around 11 a.m. Thursday, a grenade was lobbed by unidentified motorcycle riders at the Guanzon Buy and Sell store along Rizal Avenue in Kabacan town.
No one was reported hurt in the incident.
