Cagayan de Oro City -- Scores of bystanders were reportedly hurt in an explosion Monday morning in a bus stop in Tubod, Lanao Del Norte, based on a police report here.

Initial investigation showed that a motorcycle left on a bus stop exploded around 11:00 a.m. Monday wounding bystanders in nearby eatery and store. Police were still establishing the identities of those wounded rushed to a hospital in Tubod, Lanao Del Norte. Investigators were still verifying whether there were victims killed in the blast.

Police said they were trying to establish the motive and the group behind the explosion. Early this month, a bicycle with a planted explosive and parked near a jewelry store in Quezon Avenue in Iligan City, Lanao Del Norte exploded wounding six passersby.
