From the Philippine News Agency (Nov 26): Mindanao Week of Peace declared in
Zamboanga City
Mayor Celso Lobregat has declared Nov. 29 to Dec. 5 this year as Mindanao Week
of Peace calling on all constituents to actively participate in the week-long
activities prepared by the Peace Advocates Zamboanga (PAZ) and the
Interreligious Solidarity Movement for Peace (IRSMP).
Executive Order 483-2012 is pursuant to Proclamation Order 127 issued Nov.
26, 2001 by then President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo declaring the last Thursday
of November up to the first Wednesday of December of every year thereafter as
Mindanao Week of Peace..... The observance of Mindanao Week of Peace in this city is organized by the PAZ
and the IRSMP with the theme “Love of God and Love of Neighbor, A Challenge for
Mindanao," with a sub-theme “Together for Sustainable Peace in Mindanao.”.....
