WESTMINCOM: Minister Iqbal visits WestMinCom

Minister Mohagher Iqbal of the Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education visited the Western Mindanao Command at Camp Navarro, Calarian, this city, on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, to pay a courtesy call on WestMinCom Commander Lt. Gen. Roy Galido.

Lt. Gen. Galido, together with Deputy Commander Brig. Gen. Vincent Incognito and the Unified Command Staff led by Col. Emmanuel Cabasan welcomed Minister Igbal at the Laong Laan Hall of the Command.

Both leaders discussed areas of mutual cooperation for the growth and development in the Bangsamoro region.

“Your armed forces are always here to support you in all your endeavors. Let us continue to work together for our fellow Filipinos and the accomplishment of our respective organization’s mission,” Lt. Gen. Galido said.

During his visit to WestMinCom, Minister Iqbal was accompanied by Mr. Abdulgafor Kanain, Director II of the Liaison Office in Metro Manila; Mr.Abdullah Salik, Jr., Director General for Basic Education; Mr. Marjuni M. Maddi, Director General for Higher Education; Ms. Ruby Andong, Director General for Technical Education; Mr. Tahir Nalg, Director General for Madaris Education; Atty. Mojahid Guro, Chief Legal Officer; Atty. Sittie Mariam Balahim, Assistant Cabinet Secretary; and Ms. Tarhata Mla, Chief Budget Officer.
