With 600 egg-laying chickens each barangay is to team up with battalions under 1103rd Bde to fully maximize the resources provided.

To note, all internally displaced communities of Patikul officially returned to their lands November last year. According to Patikul Mayor Kabir Hayudini, this rehabilitation was made possible by the improved security situation of the municipality.

Ngayon, grabeng tuwa at pagmamalaki namin sa pagbabago sa Patikul,” the Mayor said.

Meanwhile, 1103rd Bde Commander BGen Benjamin G Batara Jr expressed that they were able to reduce the number of Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) members through the active participation of Patikul residents.

For his part, Joint Task Force – Sulu and 11ID Commander MGen William N Gonzales agreed and said that the military campaign in Sulu is meant for the long haul. “I am honored to have been part of Sulu’s history and I will always be genuinely concerned about the future of this place that has become my home.”
