FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – The Commission on Appointments’ Committee on National Defense has confirmed the ad interim appointment of Lt. Gen. Romeo Brawner, Jr., the 65th Commanding General, Philippine Army, along with 16 other AFP Generals including, Chief of Staff Gen. Andres Centino and the newly installed commander of the AFP Northern Luzon Command Lt. Gen. Ernesto Torres, Jr., on January 26, 2022, held at the Senate of the Philippines, GSIS Bldg., Financial Center, Diokno Blvd., Pasay City.
