SUPPORT TO THE GOVERNMENT. A total of 204 former rebels and supporters of the communist terrorist group (CTG) from Tapaz, Capiz and Calinog, Iloilo take their oath of allegiance to the government during the “VOLTing in for Peace” facilitated by the Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict in Calinog, Iloilo on Friday (Jan. 8. 2021). The activity was held to cater to members and supporters of the CTG who voluntarily surrendered to the government after the simultaneous serving of search warrants on Dec. 30, 2020.
