Kalinaw News: 29 CTG members withdrew membership, vows allegiance to the government

Posted to Kalinaw News (Jul 23, 2020): 29 CTG members withdrew membership, vows allegiance to the government (TASK FORCE BALIK LOOB)

IMPASUGONG, BUKIDNON. July 23- A total of 29 Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) members withdrew their membership from the CTGs and vowed allegiance to the government during the Grand Pulong-pulong at Barangay Kalasungay, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon on July 16, 2020.

Through the endeavor of the Community Support Program (CSP) team, a total of four (4) Sangay ng Partido sa Lokalidad (SPL) members withdrew their party membership from the Communist Party of the Philippines while 25 mass supporters withdrew their membership from the National Democratic Front (NDF). They are now aware of the deceptive scheme and evil tactics of the CTGs. They also realized that they were just used for the benefit of the communist organization yet they got nothing in return.

@Jessa, one of the top leaders and organizer of Pigyayungaan said, “Among dakong pasalamat sa mga kasundaluhan nga nitabang ug nagsuporta sa amo aron makab-ot ang malinawong kinabuhi. (Our huge thanks to the soldiers who helped and supported us to obtain a peaceful life. Before, we took the wrong road in believing and supporting the wrong ideology instilled in us by the communist group but from here on, we are taking the right path with the true government which initiated hope for a lasting peace and new life. Together, let us focus our efforts in collaborating with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

Roberto Flores, Executive Assistant of Local Government Unit (LGU) Malaybalay City as he relayed the message of Mayor Florencio Flores Jr. (I thank you for your presence and support to the government and to the military. The LGU Malaybalay City will continue to support you.)

(As we burn the communist flags which symbolize their terroristic act, I hope that you have also burned your allegiances to the CTGs likened to a flag that could not be restored. We have only one government whom we can run to and is always ready to help and protect you.)

Lt. Col. Talaroc further said, “Ang lain-lain nga ahensya sa gobyerno naa dinhi aron matubag ang inyong mga kinabalak-an ug magpadayon nga masolban sa mga problema ug isyu sa komunidad.” (The different government agencies are here to attend to your concerns and will continue to work together to address the problems and issues in the communities.)
