PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga Del Sur (DWDD) - Theme: " Peace through Dialogue: Our Destiny"...
On 29 November 2018, the 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion participated in the launching activity for the Celebration of MINDANAO WEEK OF PEACE conducted in Pagadian City, Zamboanga del sur.
The City Government of Pagadian in partnership with the Interfaith Forum for Solidarity and Peace initiated the said activity which aims to strengthen the awareness of civil society, youth, goverment agencies on the advocacies and efforts toward PEACE.
The program started with a 'Walk for Peace' activity participated by the different government agencies and community sectors.
Afterwards, the head and representative of each agencies such as the women sector, PNP and AFP delivered their message in regards to the said event. 53IB / MCAG
