CAMP MELCHOR DELA CRUZ, GAMU, Isabela, March 20 (PIA) -- No less than President Rodrigo Roa Duterte presided the donning of two-star general rank to Brigadier Gen. Perfecto Rimando Jr. right after the former witnessed the destruction of some 14 contraband luxury vehicles smuggled through Port Irene in Sta. Ana town last week.
Duterte was about to board the presidential chopper when he remembered to don the rank of Rimando, commanding officer of the Philippine Army’s 5th Infantry Division based here.

The donning of rank ceremony was witnessed by high ranking military and police officials, heads of various government agencies, local officials and other guests.
