From Update Philippines (Sep 15): Trump on visiting PH in November: ‘We’re going to see’
United States President Donald Trump said he is embarking into a 10-day travel to Asian countries in November. Among the definite countries he will visit are South Korea, China, and Japan.
He also said that his trip would “possibly” include Vietnam for the 29th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting on November 11 and 12.
However, when asked if his travel will include the Philippines for the 31st ASEAN Summit and related summits on November 13 and 14, Trump said he was invited but did not gave a definite answer.
“He (President Rodrigo Duterte) invited us, we’re going to see,” he told reporters aboard Air Force One en route to Washington, D.C. on September 14.
“Japan, South Korea, possibly Vietnam with a conference,” he said.
