A RETIRED army officer was shot dead yesterday in Barangay Ula, Tugbok District by a riding in tandem.
Sr. Insp. Maria Theresa Gaspan, spokesperson of Davao City Police Office, said the victim was identified as Remegio Millan, 57, also security guard of San Lorenzo Farm, Barangay Pangyan, Calinan District.
“Prior to the incident, the victim was traversing at Barangay Ula from his work going to his residence at Purok 13, Tugbok when suddenly two unidentified male persons on board a single motorcycle shot the victim several times,” Gaspan said.
The victim was brought to Angel Funeral Homes in Calinan. The authorities are already investigating the incident.
