Rappler talks to Sidney Jones, head of the Jakarta-based think tank group Institute for Policy Analysis of Conflict (IPAC).

In a report released on Friday, July 21, titled “Marawi, the ‘East Asia Wilayah’ and Indonesia,” IPAC says the Marawi conflict has changed the face of terrorism in the region and will have long-term repercussions for extremism in Southeast Asia.
