From the Philippine News Agency (Dec 5): DND in the market for Php240-M worth of thermal imaging devices
To ensure that the military is capable of meeting all kinds of security threats even at night time, the Department of National Defense (DND) has allocated some Php240 million for the procurement of thermal imaging devices for the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
This is Lot 1 of the project, said DND Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) chair Assistant Secretary Josue S. Gaverza.
Winning bidders are required to deliver the items within 180 calendar days upon receipt of the Notice To Proceed.
They also must have integrated logistic support.
Prospective bidders should have completed, within the last five years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the project being applied.
Bid opening is scheduled on Dec. 20, 10 a.m. at the DND BAC Conference Room, Left Wing, Basement, DND Building, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
