From the Philippine News Agency (Dec 15): Dela Rosa implements major revamp of top PNP posts
Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald “Bato” M. Dela Rosa has implemented a major revamp in the ranks of the top PNP posts.
The movement in the position of the third-level police officers was prompted by the positions vacated by the retirement of top PNP officials.
Dela Rosa designated Police Deputy Director General Ramon C. Apolinario as the Deputy Chief PNP for Operations vice retired Police Director Benjamin Magalong.
Former PNP Director for Personnel Police Director Fernando H. Mendez, Jr. was also designated in the position of Acting Chief of Directorial Staff effective on Thursday.
Dela Rosa also named other senior police officials to new posts in the PNP Directorial Staff, Regional Offices and National Support Units (NSUs).
They are Chief Supt. Ramon O. Purugganan as Acting Director for Personnel and Records Management (DPRM), Chief Supt. Edwin C. Roque as Acting Director for Plans (DPL), Senior Supt. Glenn G. Dumlao as Acting Director of the Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG); and Senior Supt. Manolo N. Ozaeta as Acting Director of the Legal Service.
Likewise, included in the major revamp are Chief Supt. Sheldon Jacaban as Acting Deputy Director of the Director for Intelligence (DI), Senior Supt. Renato C. Angara as Acting Deputy Regional Director for Administration (ADRDA) of the Police Regional Office 2 (PRO 2), Senior Supt. Jose A. Briones, Jr. as ADRDA of PRO 12, Senior Supt. Froilan F. Quidilla as ADRDA of PRO MIMAROPA (Mindoro-Marinduque-Romblon-Palawan), and Chief Supt. Frankling Moises R. Mabanag as ADRDA of PRO 7.
