Ten captains, assigned at the Training and Doctrine Command
(TRADOC) in Capas, Tarlac, were promoted to major and were donned their new
ranks by TRADOC head Brig. Gen. Herminigildo Francisco Aquino during Monday's
flag-raising ceremonies.
Capt. Alberto Caber, TRADOC public affairs office chief,
said the donning ceremonies took place at the TRADOC Grandstand in Camp O’Donnel
Promoted to major were Marvin Caspillo; Ace Ronald Ampong;
Jeremy Damonsong; Tim Clavel; Ricardo Sideno III; Amorito Saludez; Jimmy
Guinanoy; Alberto Gayo; Ariel Marquez and Sharon Orbon.
The promoted officers are instructors of different schools
under TRADOC, Caber added.
“Your promotion is another hallmark of professional soldiery
that we exemplify. I exhort you to lead others to contribute to the fulfillment
of TRADOC’s mission and thus fulfill the Army’s vision and mission,"
Aquino said.
