Police arrested on Wednesday morning a suspected New
People’s Army squad leader after it was found out that the latter have pending
warrants of arrest for grave charges against him at a coastal municipality of
Surigao del Norte province.
Arrested was Josefino Galez Cabil, 31, resident of Sitio
Baoy, Brgy. San Isidro
Cabil was arrested on the strength of two arrest warrants
for murder and multiple attempted murder.
The suspect was allegedly a team leader of Squad Dos under
the SPP 16A, Guerilla Front 16 Northeastern Mindanao Regional Committee of the
CPP-NPA-NDF.
He is working as an Ore
The suspect is now under the custody of Surigao del Norte
Police.
