The Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) and the Rotary Club of
Makati Metro (RCMM) will officially announce the winners of the 2016 Search for
The Outstanding Philippine Soldiers (TOPS) Monday.
Winners will be named in a press conference to be held at
the Commissioned Officers Club, Camp Aguinaldo , Quezon
City
This year's TOPS will be presented to acting AFP
chief-of-staff Lt. Gen. Glorioso V. Miranda and other top brass officials of
the AFP during the flag raising ceremony.
This year’s awardees consist of four commissioned officers
and six enlisted personnel from the Philippine Army, Philippine Navy,
Philippine Air Force, and Technical and Administrative Services of the Armed
Forces of the Philippines
Each winner will receive a PHP500,000 cash prize and a
trophy from the MBFI.
Now on its 17th year, TOPS honors the valor, gallantry, and
self-sacrifice demonstrated by the men and women of the AFP in partnership with
the RCMM.
