The Philippine National Police (PNP) relieved Chief Supt.
Ronald Dela Rosa from his post as brigade commander of Reactionary Standby
Support Force(RSSF) Brigade Commander.
Dela Rosa was relieved from his post allegedly because of
his social media posts favoring a presidential candidate, which is a wrong move
for a police official.
The former RSSF Brigade Commander's social media posts were
claimed to be partial and partisan.
Dela Rosa is a native of Davao
City and a former chief in PNP Davao .
Police Deputy Director General Danilo Constantino said on
Tuesday that Chief Supt. Elmo Francis Sarona replaced Dela Rosa.
According to Constatino, Dela Rosa was appointed as trainor
and speaker of National Headquarters for election release for he was the
executive officer of the Human Resource and Doctrine Development (HRDD).
Constantino said that they would look over the possible
administrative liabilities of Dela Rosa with regards to his social post.
Along with this, Constantino reminded all PNP officials and
personnel to avoid political talks and to keep the national police non-partisan.
