The Department of National Defense (DND) allots
Php14,234,018 for the acquisition of specialized equipment for the Philippine
Air Force (PAF).
The amount will come from the DND's Quick Reaction Fund
Calendar Year 2014.
The acquisition will be in two lots with the first an urban
search-and-rescue equipment, with a budget of Php13,274.018.
Winning bidders are required to deliver this item within 90
days of the issuance of the Notice To Proceed (NTP).
While the second one is for a helicopter bucket worth
Php960,000, which is required to be delivered 180 calendar days upon receipt of
the NTP.
These will be used by the PAF in the fulfillment of their
disaster relief missions.
Interested parties must have completed a similar project
within the last five years.
Pre-bid conference is scheduled for Aug. 6, 9 a.m. at the
DND bidding and awards committee conference room, basement left wing, DND Building ,
Camp Aguinaldo ,
Quezon City .
While bid submission and opening is on Aug. 20, at 10 a.m.,
also on the same venue.
