Female NAVSOG member won gold in SEA Games shooting event

From Ang Malaya (Jun 10): Female NAVSOG member won gold in SEA Games shooting event

Seawoman 1st Class Elvie Baldivino bagged one gold medal for the Philippines in the Women’s Precision Pistol Individual event of the 2015 Southeast Asian Games in Singapore June 8, 2015.

She defeated Norizan Mustafa of Singapore, 230-228, in the finals. Baldivino together with Franchetta Shayne Quiroz and Carmen Guillermo won the silver medal in the Women’s Precision Pistol Team event.

Baldivino, 34 years old, “a female enlisted personnel of the Philippine Navy captured the gold medal after ruling the Women’s Precision Pistol Individual event,” PN says in a news release.

The Navy added that she is a member of the Naval Special Operations Group.
