With the country celebrating National Human Rights
Consciousness Week (NHRCW), the Eastern Mindanao Command renewed its commitment

elderly and the vulnerable.
NHRCW is celebrated from Dec. 4 to 10.
Brig. Gen. Alexander F. Balutan, Eastern Mindanao Command

people especially the children and the vulnerable
“One of the reasons for being of service to the local residents
of Eastern Mindanao , is the protection of
their rights particularly the poor and the oppressed to be free from fear and
want. As such, we fully and continuously support and cooperate with other
government agencies especially the Department of Social Welfare and
Development, and the Commission on Human Rights in pursuit of the common
aspiration," he added.
"Respect of Human Rights and International Humanitarian
Law is part of our Rules of Engagement and we are conducting and providing
