From the Manila Times (Nov 20): Military recovers body of slain NPA rebel
State troopers recovered the body of a female member of the communist New People’s Army (NPA) following a firefight in Misamis Oriental.
Maj. Jennan Montealto, civil-military officer of the 403rd Brigade of the 4th Infantry Division of the Philippine Army, said on Thursday that troopers found the body of the still unidentified NPA guerilla while scouring the forested area of Barangay Minalwang, Claveria, after a series of armed clashes with the rebels.
