From InterAksyon (May 26): Compound of Lanao Sur electric coop bullet-sprayed
The compound of Lanao del Sur Electric Cooperative (Lasureco) in Barangay Gadonga, Marawi City was bullet-sprayed in the wee hours Saturday.
While no one was injured, the attack shook Lasureco employees and nearby residents.
Police are still finding out who were behind the attack, said Lanao Del Sur Provincial Director Senior Supt. Nickson Muksan.
The attack happened after Lasureco shut down the power supply to 35 towns of Lanao del Sur with huge debts.
Recently, unknown group of people burned a Lasureco crane truck.
Lanao del Sur is one of the many Mindanao provinces severely affected by the widespread blackout.
