From the Philippine News Agency (Mar 15): 3,000 ROTC cadets attend annual tactical inspection

The Philippine Army (PA) headquarters will host the Centralized Regional Annual Administrative Tactical Inspection (RAATI) which will be conducted this March 16.

This will be conducted by the National Capital Region Regional Community Defense Group (NCRRCDG), Army Reserve Command (ARESCOM), at the ROTC Hunters Guerilla Field, in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

Around 3,000 cadets from the Reserved Officers Training Corps (ROTC) units of different schools, colleges and universities within the National Capital Region will participate in the actual inspection.

The RAATI is a yearly activity of the NCRRCDG, ARESCOM which entails actual inspection of all activated PA ROTC units in the area operation.

The inspection aims to test the units’ degree of administrative efficiency, training management, proficiency, and quality of training attained by the Corps of Cadets.

It also intends to test the operational readiness of the ROTC units and allow the students to experience the real meaning of basic soldiery.

Meanwhile, in celebration of the PA's 117th founding anniversary, the Philippine Army Museum will be opened to the public from March 17 to 22.
