The Philippine military claims at least 40 fighters have been killed since it began an offensive on Monday morning. It also claims that the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters rebel group (BIFF) will soon cease to exist. Al Jazeera's Jamela Alindogan traveled to Mindanao in the southern Philippines to meet the leader of the BIFF who says their struggle is far from over.
