From the Philippine News Agency (Sep 7): 11th IB distributes 4,155 school packs to indigent children
 
The 11th Infantry Battalion and the National BookStore Foundation distributed 4,155 school packs to indigent children in Guihulngan and Isabela, Negros Occidental recently.

Each set of school packs contained four notebooks, ballpen, pencils, sharpener and eraser.

The items were distributed to Barangays Buenavista, Magsaysay, Nagsaha, Mandi-I, Hinakpan, Luz, Linantuyan in Guihulngan City and Barangays Sikatuna, Sebucawan, Libas and San Agustin, Isabela town.

Distribution of these school materials are part of the 11th Infantry Battalion's “Handog Para saKapayapaan, Karunungan Para sa Kabataan” program.

Lt. Col. Wilfredo V. Isaac, 11th Infantry Battalion commander, said Saturday the project is part of its development initiatives particularly in securing the future of the youth in partnership with various stakeholders under the "Bayanihan" campaign of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
