One unidentified new people’s army (NPA) rebel was killed in a clash between army’s 8th Infantry Battalion (8th IB) and NPA at Minlanaw sub-village, Dumalaguing, Impasug-ong, Bukidnon, Sunday, October 7. Army’s Alpha Company, 8th IB, in a spot report said it had an exchange of fire with some 15 armed rebels believed to be members of Front Committee 4A North Central Mindanao Command. The fierce encounter, led by army 1st Lt. Norman Tagros, resulted to the death of an NPA insurgent. Lt. Col.
