Armed communist rebels raided a poultry farm and set ablaze two of its buildings in a village of Molave town, Zamboanga del Sur to force the owner of payment of “revolutionary” demand, according to the military. The military said seven members of the New People’s Army (NPA) swooped down on the poultry farm owned by Onyx Go in Barangay Dalaon Friday midnight and rounded all the workers inside the compound. Capt. Alberto Caber said the rebels seized all the cellular phones of the workers and doused the two buildings of poultry farm and set it on fire before escaping. “According to one of the workers, one of the marauders was an amazon wearing bonnet,” Caber said. The military official said the rebels later called up the owner of the farm and warned him to heed with their extortion demands to spare his farm from attacks....
