LOOK | 45 Former Rebels (FRs) of this unit from San Luis, La Paz, Esperanza, Talacogon, Loreto, Vereula, and Trento all of Agusan del Sur and from Las Nieves, Agusan del Norte received financial assistance amounting to Ten Thousand Pesos (Php10,000.00) each from the Community-based Program of DSWD Regional Office thru the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office of Agusan del Sur headed by Ms Razel O Montemor. The cash payout was held at 26IB Rear Command Post, Brgy Zamora Talacogon, Agusan del Sur on June 09, 2023.
The said activity reflects the government's relentless efforts to provide for the welfare of FRs and as part of the productive implementation of the Whole of Nation Approach to sustain conflict-resilient and peaceful communities.
Meanwhile, Ltc Sandy Majarocon, Commanding Officer of this unit, expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Regional and Provincial Offices of DSWD for the assistance as it will surely help the FRs to continue living peacefully and productively.
