Former Rebels get Gov't housing aid

BUENAVISTA, Agusan del Norte – The 23rd Infantry (Masigasig) Battalion in partnership with the Provincial Government of Agusan del Norte under the leadership of Hon. Ma Angelica Rosedell M Amante and the National Housing Authority (NHA) – Region 13, headed by Ms. Ricamel Dawn A. Obligado, Estate Management Supervisor and Ms. Hyacint Lian Mae P. Maganding, Community Support Service Chief held the Turn Over Ceremony of the Completed Housing Units for the Former Rebels (FRs) who are now members of the Philippine Army on May 12, 2023 at Midland Valley Homes Brgy. Mambuaya, Cagayan de Oro City.

A total of three (3) housing units, with 44 square meters floor area and lot area of 80 square meters, were awarded to the FR beneficiaries and families.

The expansion of the coverage of the benefits and services under the Enhanced - Comprehensive Livelihood Integration Program (E-CLIP) is a testament to the government's commitment to uplift the lives of the FRs, which will serve as the foundation for the attainment of peace and progress in our communities.

These benefits do not serve as an end, but rather a means to aid the FRs in securing a foothold in restarting their lives. It provides a wider array of benefits based on the particular needs of FRs and their families such as financial assistance, housing, education, skills training, healthcare, legal assistance, and among others through a convergence of various national and local government agencies.
