(Updated) Naaresto sa isang manhunt operation na ikinasa ng iba’t ibang law enforcement units ang wanted na political instructor at finance officer ng Kilusang Larangang Girilya (KLG) North ng Bienvenido Vallever Command (BVC) na si Marcila “Nene” Batoan, alyas Maria, kaninang 4:45 ng madaling araw, Setyembre 15, sa Sityo Nagkulon Bantid-Bantid, Barangay Decalachao, Coron.

Si Batoan na kilala sa kilusan bilang si Ka Teri, Ka Elsa, at Ka Karen ay itinuturing na “high-valued individual” ng awtoridad mula sa New People’s Army (NPA) sa Palawan. “Sa kasong robbery with homicide niya wala akong info sa ngayon kung saan niya ito na-commit, pero ang murder case niya na-commit ito sa San Vicente kung saan ang napatay ay si SPO1 Marvin Adier,” ayon sa pahayag ni Plando sa Palawan News ngayong Miyerkules.

According to the initial report of the Coron Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by P/Cpt. Ervin Plando, the arrest of Batoan was due to warrants issued by Judge Ramon Chito Mendoza of Branch 45 of the 4th Judicial Region in Brooke's Point for the robbery with homicide case and Judge Anna Leah Mendoza of Branch 164 of the 4th Judicial Region in Roxas for in the murder case.

"In his robbery with homicide case, I don't have information yet on where he committed it, but in his murder case he committed it in San Vicente where SPO1 Marvin Adier was killed," Plando said in a statement in Palawan. News this Wednesday.

No bail was recommended for Batoan's temporary release on the issued warrants.
