The military said ASG members will undergo custodial debriefing and medical check-up and receive initial cash and rice assistance.
Four members of the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) yielded on Tuesday to military units stationed in Barangay Samak in Talipao, Sulu.
In a statement, the military said the ASG members were identified as Rehim Jawhari, Daha Jawhari and, Totoh Jawhari all residents of Barangay Buhanginan and Marjuli Julmorie, a resident of Barangay Kagay in Indanan.
The ASG members also surrendered four firearms comprising three garand rifles and an M16 rifle.
The military said ASG members will undergo custodial debriefing and medical check-up and receive initial cash and rice assistance.
"The government forces will continue to double our efforts working with local government units to formulate and implement programs for all of you. To the troops let's continue our mission. We will not stop until we ultimately end terrorism in this province," Joint Task Force Sulu and 11th Infantry Division Commander, Major General William Gonzales said.
