H601IBde, Camp Leono, Brgy Kalandagan, Tacurong City- Two (2) communist terrorist group members in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato surrendered to the 5th Special Forces Battalion while the 601st Infantry Brigade of Joint Task Force Central intensified its focus military operations against the CTG in the whole province to thwart any hostile acts as the CPP terrorist commemorates its 52nd founding anniversary.

Battalion commander of 5SFBn, SFRA Lt. Col. Randy Banaag disclosed that the rebel, identified as alias Tantan and alias Bornok a members of Platoon Central, Guerrilla Front Musa, Far South Mindanao Region of CPP-NPA-NDF. Further, the rebel likewise turned over their firearms comprises of one (1) M14 rifle and one (1) 5.56mm rifle (HM).

BGen. Roy Galido, Brigade Commander, 601st Infantry Brigade said full military offensive against the CTG in the province pressured the rebels to laid their arms. Our government has its programs, enable to provide you a better livelihood and become even more productive member of the society,” Maj. Gen. Juvymax Uy, Commander, JTF-Central said while he lauded the troops on the said accomplishment in the 601st Infantry Brigade AOR.
