CITY OF ILAGAN, Nov. 10 (PIA) - - - A member of the ‘Hands Off Our Children’ has urged the youth leaders from Benito Soliven town in this province not to be persuaded with the ‘sweet words’ of left-leaning youth groups.

Relissa Lucena, mother of Alicia Jasper who was recruited by Anakbayan, in her message via Zoom, said she and other parents will not back down against the campaign of left-leaning youth groups.

She shared how intelligent, responsible, God fearing her daughter AJ was before recruited to be a member of the Anakbayan.

“They teached our children to rebel against their parents and they condition us to simply accept the fact that their kids are already rebellious,” shared Relisa.

The “Hands Off Our Children” is a campaign that seeks to help families looking for their teenage loved ones who have been recruited by Anakbayan, League of Filipino Students (LFS), Kabataan Party-list and other youth groups.

Relissa also advised the youth to listen to their parents for they know better than anyone else.

Recently, the 95th Infantry "Salaknib" Battalion in collaboration with the Local Government Unit of Benito Soliven, Isabela through the leadership of Municipal Mayor Hon Roberto T Lungan and Ms. Roxan V Lungan RN-LYDO, Isabela Police Provincial Office and TESDA successfully conducted Youth Leadership Summit - Benito Soliven Chapter with 86 participants composed of SK officials, Out-of-School Youth (OSY) and college students.
