The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has turned over four out of the seven suspected Maute group members who were intercepted at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 (NAIA 3) to the Philippine National Police-Aviation Security Group (PNP-AVSEGROUP) and National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

BI Spokesperson Antonette Mangrobang said Monday that the intercepted persons identified as Alnizar Palawan Maute, Yasser Dumaraya Maute, Ashary Palawan Maute and Abdulrahman Maute are now in the custody of the authorities for further investigation and verification of their identities.

She said the three others identified as Mawiyag Ibrahim Cota, Acmali A Mawiyag, and Abdulcahar Racman Maute, were immediately released after determining that there is no derogatory record against their names.

They were interviewed by ISAFP.
