75IB new commanding officer assumes post

From the Philippine Information Agency (Feb 9): 75IB new commanding officer assumes post

Lt. Col. Wilfredo Amoma is the new commanding officer of the 75th Infantry Battalion (IB), 6th Infantry Division (ID) based in Bislig City.

Amoma replaced Lt. Col. Haron Akaz who led the 75th troopers for more than two years as he assumed on duty last Jan. 27, 2017.

The change of command ceremony was presided by 6ID commander BGen. Arnel dela Vega at the 75IB headquarters in Barangay Maharlika, Bislig City, Thursday morning.

According to Civil Military Operations officer Captain Reggie Go of 402nd Brigade, Lt. Col. Amoma is a native of Tacloban City and was formerly assigned at the Headquarters Service Command of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, G2 Office before he assumed as the new commanding officer of 75IB.
