With the country about to celebrate its 118th Independence
Day this June 12, the Philippine Army (PA) has ordered all its major units to
display the national flag in all military camps, bases and offices, starting
May 15 to June 30.
This includes all major thoroughfares in these military
facilities, said PA spokesperson Col. Benjamin Hao.
Hao said the display of the national flag is part of the
PA's support activity for the annual June 12 celebrations which has the theme
of “Kalayaan 2016: Pagkakaisa, Pag-aambagan, Pagsulong.”
A national flag day will also be celebrated this coming May
28 at Imus, Cavite
