From ABS-CBN (Aug 7): 2 soldiers injured in Basilan blast
Two soldiers of the 64th Infantry Battalion were injured after an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded along the boundary of Tipo-Tipo and Ungkaya Pukan in Basilan around 1 p.m. Friday.
The casualties were part of the military forces tasked to conduct route security for military convoys and commuters traversing the area.
They were immediately brought to the nearest hospital for proper medication.
