Troopers from the 6th Infantry Division are now pursuing
suspected Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) who shot and killed two
soldiers doing repairs at the Meta
Elementary School
Capt. Jo-ann Petinglay, 6th Infantry Division spokesperson,
said the incident took place 3 p.m..
She added that the slain troopers are from the 34th Infantry
Battalion.
The soldiers were on their way to the Capitol of Shariff
Aguak, Maguindanao when the shooting transpired.
Suspected BIFF gunmen took the motorcycle of the victims
after shooting one in the head and the other at the back.
