From ABS-CBN (Jun 18): 4 killed in alleged BIFF attack in Maguindanao
Four people died in an ambush in Barangay Pamalian in Shariff Saydona Mustapha town on Wednesday morning.
Reports said the four victims, who remain unidentified, were on board a white Toyota Innova when they were fired upon by suspected members of the Bangsmoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) in Sitio Kapok at around 8 p.m.
The BIFF rebels were allegedly led by a certain ''Sala'', who is believed to be a son of the late BIFF founder Ameril Umbra Kato.
Police and military officials were still gathering information regarding the said incident. They have also yet to get the identities of the victims.
