From Tempo (Nov 21): Reds burn village dad’s house
Some 30 New People’s Army (NPA) rebels torched the house of a village councilor in Boca Engaño, Claveria (Burias Island), Masbate, Wednesday morning, the Southern Luzon Command reported yesterday.
The 903rd Infantry Brigade (903IB) said that the rebels armed with high-powered guns burned the residence of Oscar Rejuso, a councilman of the said barangay, at about 8 a.m.
No one was hurt in the incident. Col. Cesar M. Idio, 903 IB commander, ordered his men to pursue the rebels.
