In line with its efforts to recruit and train people for the country's various military services, the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) on Wednesday announced that applicants interested in becoming members of the Cadet Corps of the Armed Forces of the
Applicants must be natural-born Filipino citizens, single, never been married nor pregnant (if female) nor has a legal obligation to support a child.
They must also be, at a minimum, a high school graduate.
Applicants may submit their application through regular mail or courier services.
They may also take advantage of the online application through the academy’s website at www.pma.ph.
Walk-in applicants with complete documents may take the examination as long as there are sufficient examination booklets.
The academy will be putting up 37 testing centers to attract students with leadership potentials at the following sites:
Manila, Quezon City, Baguio City, Laoag City, Dagupan City, Bontoc, Bayombong, Tuguegarao City, Cabanatuan City, Tarlac City, Pampanga’s City of San Fernando, Calapan City, Lipa City, Puerto Princesa City, Lucena City, Legazpi City, Naga City, Bacolod City, Iloilo City, Kalibo, Cebu City, Dumaguete City, Tagbilaran City, Catbalogan City, Tacloban City, Zamboanga City, Butuan City, Cagayan De Oro City, Ozamiz City, Davao City, General Santos City, Tacurong City, Iligan City, Cotabato City, Jolo, Basco, and Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.
The PMA Entrance Examination aims to measure the mental ability of applicants in the areas of Math (Algebra and Geometry), English (Grammar, Composition, and
Qualified examinees will be informed of their scheduled test date.
