The Cagayan De Oro-based 4th Infantry Division on Thursday announced it has formally accepted the surrender of 35 former New People's Army (NPA) fighters and is busy integrating the latter back to society.
The surrendered rebels handed over 42 assorted firearms to military authorities.
For this, they received a total of P1,169,000 from the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace Process (OPAPP).
