The Army's Civil-Military Operation (CMO) Battalion, based in the National Capital Region, has participated in "Alay-Lakad 2013" which was held at the Quirino Grandstand,
This year's theme is “Lakad Bayan: Para sa Kapayapaan”.
"Alay-Lakad" is an annual fund-raising activity conducted by the Alay-Lakad Foundation Inc. (ALFI).
This year’s lead organization is the Rotary International District 3810 with Rotary District Gov. Karen Tamayo as over all chair of the National Coordinating Committee for Walk 2013 with the participation of different government agencies, civic organizations, non-government organizations and the Armed forces of the Philippines (AFP) to support and finance socio-economic projects of ALFI for the out of school youth.
