From the Philippine News Agency (Apr 9): AFP’s Centcom has new chief

Maj. Gen. Roy O. Deveraturda on Monday assumed as chief of the Central Command (Centcom) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) based in Camp Lapu-Lapu in Barangay Apas, Cebu City.

Deveraturda, the commander of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) 2nd Air Division at Benito Ebuen Air Base in Lapu-Lapu City, replaced Vice Admiral Edgar Abogado.

Abogado, who served as Centcom chief for less than three months, will head the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) in Baguio City.

Abogado will assume as PMA superintendent on April 11.
