Realizing possible backlash from the majority of the Muslim people in Mindanao, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has formed at least six groups for “massive information drive” to explain the Framework Agreement (FRAG) on the Bangsamoro. According to Sheikh Mohammad Muntassir, head of the Da’wah Department of the MILF, the groupings are ordered to spread out to the Sulu-Tawi-Tawi-Basilan area, the Zamboanga Peninsula, the Lanao area, the Davao area, Maguindanao-Cotabato area, and South Cotabato area.... Since the FRAG was signed recently, the MILF has embarked on peace forums in different parts of Mindanao to inform the Muslims about the Bangsamoro political entity amid negative reactions from the defunct Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF)....
