From the Philippine Star (Oct 2): EU vows continued support to conflict-affected areas in Mindanao

The European Union (EU) has adopted its third program of support for the ongoing peace process in Mindanao in anticipation and response to the progress and development in the current peace talks between the Government of the Philippines (GPH) and the Moro Islamic Liberation (MILF), the rebel group said yesterday. Ambassador Guy Ledoux, Head of EU Delegation in the Philippines, during his official visit in southern Cotabato City last week, said the support program is worth P495 million ($11.83 million), the MILF said....
