From the Manila Standard Today (Nov 1): Code of conduct on West PH okayed
China and the 10-member countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) have agreed to adopt before the end of the year a Code of Conduct that will govern their actions regarding territorial dispute in the West Philippines Sea, officials said on Wednesday. The Asean said in a statement foreign affairs officials would discuss the implementation of the Code of Conduct when they meet in November during the 10th anniversary of the non-binding 2002 Declaration on the Code of Conduct in the South China Sea (West Philippine Sea). The Declaration on the Code of Conduct was intended to reduce tension and prevent claimant from acting aggressively, a senior Philippine official said....
